If you’re posting in the Microsoft newsgroups/forums and have a network issue, providing the text output of ipconfig /all will usually assist in resolving your problem. Following are the instructions to do this:
start
programs
accessories
command prompt
ipconfig /all [click OK or press enter]
click the icon on the menubar on the left and then edit, select all
(it will turn white)
click the icon in the menubar again then edit, copy
this copies all the text to the clipboard.
you can now paste the info into a newsgroup post or newsgroup reply.
