Well done- Clearest instructions on the Net for this type of install. I have WordPress up and running on WHS. My next step is to implement an interactive “family” photo album that allows comments, etc. I have been looking at the following:

Finally found the error in my site. Apparently the PHP.ini file I have has magic_quotes_runtime = on instead of off. This causes huge numbers of scripting errors.
Anyway, turning this off solved all my problems and now it works 100%

I followed all these instructions and the site comes up and works except I get errors on every admin page that start with
Message: Invalid character
Line: 12
Char: 293
Code: 0
URI: http://rspitzer.homeserver.com:8008/EmmaBlog/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=1&load=jquery,utils,quicktags&ver=b64ae9a301a545332f1fcd4c6c5351b4

and almost nothing in the admin pages work, Tinymce does not, you cannot click on help or screen options or any media buttons, the visual editor does not work…..etc.

I have researched and have not found anyone with this issue. Can someone please help!

I have recently purchased this product. I would have to say that over all a good media extender, until you set up media center. The graphics card on the xbox 360 is by far better, this product can’t quite render the opening graphics to media center, it is choppy and I’m not wireless.
I really like the program Media Browser, it is a plug in that can be added to media center, it allows a cover flow for all your movies that you have stored on your hard drive. The Media smart can’t hand the cover flow graphic like my PC or the Xbox. It isn’t 3D. Over all I give this Extender a 5 out of ten, an xbox 360 is by far the a better extender ( bang for you buck!).

I don’t use this laptop on the go. It is plugged in most of the time. I need the small size due to traveling so much. Even with the 7200 RPM drive I can get 2.5 hours of battery out of the six cell battery. I can go 1.75 hours with full power profile on the battery too. The performance boost was well worth the battery degredation. I have two batteries if it becomes an issue.

This is the best laptop I’ve ever had. It’s amazing. I feel sorry for the big guys. I appreciate that the number for tech support is written on the back of the machine. Try finding that number when you buy a Dell. My only complaint is that I’ve almost lost it twice. It’s so damn small and light you got to keep track of it. I’m off to Nepal for a month and a half and I’m not even going to notice it in my pack. Oh, yeah the glossy screen is a drawback. I don’t know why they did that. But I give it five stars anyway. It’s that good.

The easiest way to get around the issue is as mentioned before to run the explorer in 32 bit mode.
First of all make sure you have downloaded and installed the NEF-codec:
http://www.nikonimglib.com/nefcodec/

Next create a text file with the editor with the following line:

%windir%\SysWOW64\explorer.exe /separate /e
and save it on your Desktop as “NEF-Explorer.bat”.
If you want to open your Photo directory at the same time replace above script by:
%windir%\SysWOW64\explorer.exe /separate /e, /root,S:
while S: stands for your preferred directory.

Now you have a comfortable Start-link to view your NEF-Files (thumbnail and preview).
